Bea was found in agony on the side of the road after she was run over by a rubbish lorry. She was left there for about 2-3 days we were told… The pain must have been excruciating being her leg fractured and infected. We took her to see a vet straight away and the orthopaedic surgeon who found she had two fractures and operated on her inserting two plates. One of the two plates has been bothering her since February but could only be removed now as we needed to wait for the bone to regain strength and stability.
Bea is back at the shelter after her surgery. The plate that was bothering her and causing an infection has been removed. The leg is now in a sort of cast and the surgeon has told us that she can be allowed more movements but of course not running yet.
Sadly we did not receive a single donation following our first appeal for her and we simply do not have the EUR 450 we need to pay to settle her bill.
Please donate if you can. Very sadly the emergencies are always too many… Thank you! ❤️
