He is about 4 years old.

He was found severely emaciated, very poorly and desperately looking for human contact, but sadly in Calabria there is no compassion for dogs like him. He was rescued near a restaurant in the middle of nowhere near a dangerous road and would have surely died a very sad and lonely death.

As you will see from the videos and pictures since coming into rescue he has put on weight and is looking much healthier. His treatment is still ongoing as he has a bad infection in both ears. We are currently waiting for his blood test results and will post an update as soon as we have them.

We will never understand the forgiving nature of these beautiful gentle dogs as despite all he has endured Bentley absolutely LOVES people, and gets on well with all other dogs. He is also very funny and full of character – he is apparently rather goofy which gives him a beautiful doggy smile!

Can you imagine the joy of waking up every morning to see this lovely chap smiling at you and loving you unconditionally! Bentley is looking for a very discerning family to love and maybe, just maybe, you are that family.
