Viola has settled in really well into her UK foster home. She is clearly loving all the fuss and comfort of a caring home. This lovely gentle lady could be your new baby!

Viola was found reduced to skin and bones, consumed by leishmaniasis, her microchip had been removed… Welcome to Calabria. 

We can only imagine what she must have gone through… poor girl.

Meet Viola one of our gorgeous “Setterinas” (Little Setter Girls) who is looking for a forever home!

She arrived in the UK in late November 2025 and has settled into her new foster home very well and is showing how gentle and adaptable she is.

Over the course of the past few months her transformation has been phenomenal! Her latest blood tests show a low positivity to leishmaniasis. She was almost dying when rescued.

She is very good with other dogs, she cannot live with cats. She is a very affectionate, gentle girl who follows her rescuer everywhere. She is shy when she first meets new people. Viola is the sweetest dog.  

Viola is 4.
