Well that did not take long! Elgan arrived this morning (02/08/2024) with his foster family who within an hour had adopted him. Well done Elgan you’ve found your forever home.

This is an URGENT appeal for a foster home for Elgan. As we sadly cannot send Belle due to her illness we need a foster family willing to accept the lovely Elgan into their home.

Our little Elgan can be seen in the photograph below watching children through a window at a school in the area he was a stray 😪. He spent a lot of his day standing on his hind legs just watching the children with his tail wagging wildly – how sad is that!

It took our volunteers a long time to build his confidence sufficiently to be able to get him into rescue, such was his fear of people. I am glad to report that he is doing really well in our care, and was seen by a vet yesterday, during his examination his blood tests which are so essential for travel were taken with results awaited. We believe he is about 2 years old.
