Ozzie is 13. We rescued him in June from a public pound in Southern Italy. He had spent there 7 years. He is a lovely boy, very friendly and trusty despite everything he has gone through. His blood tests showed elevated kidneys values, so we started to treat him. Unfortunately, his kidneys continued to deteriorate for an unknown reason and we had to hospitalise him. He is eating again and he is quite happy, his creatinine is slowly improving, we really want this boy to have a few months of happiness. We have had already some donations towards his vet bills but these are increasing rapidly and we are having such a difficult time as we are dealing with many vet emergencies with our dogs. But we are not giving up on Ozzie! The ultrasound scan showed that the kidneys are not in a bad state. Unless we see he is unwell and the vets recommended to put him to sleep, we will not give up on him! Please help if you can. Thank you.
